Varandinha Beach – Imposing rocks in the middle of the beach

Unlike most of the beaches on Boa Vista Island, this beach has rock formations – and even caves – that make this beach a unique and special place.

Why visit?

Varandinha Beach is a quiet place, without many people, ideal for relaxing. Its natural rock formations are to be admired and its caves make the delights of those who visit it.

It is one of the beaches, too, where turtles at certain times of the year leave their eggs.

And for windsurfers, this beach is one of the natural conditions for the practice of this sport, but only at some times of the year.

How to get to varandinha beach?

Access to this beach is not easy, due to the lack of roads to it, being necessary to make sand paths, between dunes. So you can use a rental, taxi, or, if you have your own means, use a 4×4 vehicle, so you don’t run the risk of getting stuck in the sand.
