Visit the city center

Nova Sintra is the main town on the island. To get there, from the port, you have to go through the 99 bends road. This trip, however, is immediately worthwhile as soon as we see this beautiful village, where flowers adorn the houses and the landscape.
In the center of the city, you can find the Eugénio Tavares square, in honor of the poet, whose beautiful literary production ends up serving as the basis for some of the most important mornas that have ever been created.
Discovering the center of Nova Sintra, with beautiful flower gardens, is something you must do. To get to this place from Porto, you have to take the famous 99 bends road.
