Why Ponta Preta Beach?

When visiting the beach of Ponte Preta, it is almost impossible not to fall in love with it. Its hot, translucent water invites you to take a dip. Its soft white sand invites us to take a walk. And your calm invites us to relax. This is one of Sal Island’s dream beaches.

Ponte Preta Beach – Ideal for water sports

At times, the beach has some wind and swell, making it suitable for kitesurfing and windsurfing in Cape Verde. Snorkeling and deep-sea diving are other sports that can be done on this beach.
If you want to have a beer while enjoying the scenery, or try a grilled fish, you can do it in a bar nearby.

From Santa Maria to Ponta Preta beach is a 7-minute drive. You can also use car hire or taxi.
